Jordan Wike, son of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has officially been called to the Nigerian bar as a legal practitioner.

Jordan was among the latest batch of aspiring lawyers called to the bar in a ceremony held on Tuesday at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. The event saw Minister Wike join other members of the Body of Benchers in a formal procession.

Sharing highlights from the ceremony on social media, Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, wrote: “Minister Nyesom Wike joined other members of the Body of Benchers in a procession at the Call to Bar ceremony today. His son, Jordan, is among the aspiring legal practitioners called to the bar today.”

Olayinka added that both proud parents, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Justice Eberechi Suzette Wike, were present at the event to celebrate their son’s achievement.

The milestone marks a significant moment for the Wike family, as Jordan officially joins the ranks of legal practitioners in Nigeria.

The ceremony, which gathered legal luminaries and new lawyers alike, highlights the continuing tradition of excellence within the country’s legal community.
