WAEC 2025 Results: Release Date & Timeline

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is set to release the
2025 WASSCE (SSCE) results for school candidates on or before Monday, August 4, 2025, as announced.

This follows the completion of script marking and final validation procedures.

NECO 2025 Results: Expected Release

The National Examinations Council (NECO) typically releases its
SSCE (June/July) results within 60 to 90 days after the exams.

Candidates can expect results between September and October 2025.
Keep an eye on updates from the
NECO Registrar for a confirmed date.

How to Check Your WAEC & NECO Results

WAEC (WASSCE) Results

  1. Visit the WAEC result portal or waecnigeria.org.
  2. Select exam type and year (WASSCE, 2025).
  3. Enter:
    • Examination Number
    • e-PIN Voucher Number
    • Serial Number (if required)
  4. Click “Submit” to view your result.
  5. Via SMS: Send WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear to 32327 (for MTN, Glo, Airtel users; ₦30 fee).

NECO BECE & SSCE Results

  1. Visit the NECO Results Portal.
  2. Select exam type (BECE or SSCE) and year (2025).
  3. Enter:
    • Token Number (from NECO scratch card)
    • Registration Number
  4. Click “Check Result” to view your grades.
  5. Note: You must purchase an official NECO Token (₦300–₦500). One token allows multiple checks.

What To Do After Checking Your Result

1. Review Your Scores Carefully

Ensure you scored credit passes (A1–C6) in critical subjects like English Language and Mathematics.
If not, consider resit options.

2. BECE Resit for Failed Candidates

If you failed English or Mathematics in BECE, you can resit on
July 23–24, 2025.

3. Plan for SSCE Result Usage

  • Scholarship opportunities

4. Apply for Further Education

Use your result to:

  • Register for JAMB (UTME)
