Victor Osimhen set for Galatasaray move, medical scheduled in Istanbul

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen will now be traveling to Istanbul to complete a sensational move to Turkish giants Galatasaray, with his medical scheduled for Thursday.

According to renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Nigerian international will arrive in Istanbul on Wednesday as the deal with Napoli enters its final stages. Romano revealed via his X (formerly Twitter) handle that all necessary legal documents have been counter-signed between both clubs.

“Victor Osimhen will land in Istanbul on Wednesday, all documents are counter-signed! Medical on Thursday for Osimhen, back to Galatasaray,” Romano wrote.

The 27-year-old forward, who previously spent a successful one-year loan spell with Galatasaray, scored an impressive 37 goals in 41 appearances. The Turkish champions have long expressed their desire to sign him permanently and are now on the verge of completing the high-profile transfer.

Osimhen, a former CAF Player of the Year, will be a major boost to Galatasaray’s attacking lineup as they prepare for the new season.
