Victor Boniface says life in Europe is boring

Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has opened up about his preference for life in Nigeria over Europe, describing the European lifestyle as “boring.”
Speaking on The Culture League Podcast, which he co-hosts with fellow Super Eagles players Wilfred Ndidi and Raphael Onyedika, Boniface said he would be willing to commute long hours daily from Nigeria to Germany just to avoid Europe’s dull lifestyle.
“If Nigeria was like a six-hour drive to Germany, I would stay here and drive every morning to train and play in Germany. Europe is boring,” Boniface told the podcast, hosted by popular video jockey Adams Adebola (VJ Adams).
Boniface, who joined Bayer Leverkusen from Union SG in 2023, made the remarks during a conversation about the cultural differences between Nigeria and Europe.
