Veteran singer, wife welcome baby boy

Veteran Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, and Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.

Speculation over the birth intensified earlier on Friday after Osawaru was sighted at a hospital, sparking rumours that she had gone into labour. Hours later, the lawmaker confirmed the arrival of the baby in a brief post on her official Facebook page, announcing that she and the singer had been “blessed with a baby boy.” Her announcement immediately drew widespread congratulatory messages across social media.

The new baby marks another chapter in the couple’s increasingly public relationship.

2Baba and Osawaru formalised their union earlier this year following the singer’s separation from Annie Idibia in January. Their relationship gained significant public attention, from the Valentine’s Eve proposal to family visits and traditional rites.

In July, the pair held a private traditional wedding ceremony in Abuja attended by close family members.
