Transfer: Lookman pushes for Premier League return

Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman is edging closer to a Premier League return after formally requesting a transfer from Atalanta, who value him at £45 million.

The winger has been training separately from the squad, with his agents actively in talks with top English clubs including Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal are currently leading the chase, having already opened discussions with Lookman’s camp.

A move could depend on the future of Leandro Trossard, while Manchester City are monitoring him as a possible replacement for Savinho. Chelsea and Tottenham remain options, especially if their respective transfer pursuits stall.

Earlier, Inter Milan dropped out of the race, clearing the way for a Premier League switch.

Lookman, 27, has made it clear he is ready for a new challenge in England after two impressive seasons in Serie A.
