Tinubu congratulates 3 Nigerian students for outstanding performance at UK competition
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated three Nigerian students for their outstanding achievements at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals held in London, United Kingdom.
The President’s commendation was conveyed in a statement issued on Wednesday by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga.
The students — Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kalli Kashim — all from northern Nigeria, excelled in various categories at the international competition. Nafisa emerged best in English language skills, Rukayya won in the debate category, while Hadiza received the award for outstanding talent.
President Tinubu praised the trio for showcasing academic brilliance on the global stage, describing them as a source of national pride and a testament to the promising future of Nigerian youth.
“The President encourages Nafisa, Rukayya, and Hadiza to remain steadfast in their studies and wishes them continued success,” the statement read in part.
Meanwhile, the Yobe State government has pledged to honour Nafisa and Rukayya, who hail from the state, in recognition of their exceptional global performance.
