Home-based Super Eagles captain Junior Nduka has sealed a permanent move to Iraqi Premier League side Erbil FC, signing a three-year contract after leaving Nigerian champions Remo Stars.

The commanding centre-back becomes the latest high-profile exit from Remo Stars, following the departures of Kayode Bankole, Sikiru Alimi, Franck Mawuena, Fabian Nworie, and Seun Ogunribide.

Nduka was a key figure in Remo Stars’ Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title-winning campaign, earning praise for his calmness, leadership qualities, and consistency at the back.

The defender also represented Nigeria at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), playing every minute of the Super Eagles’ three group matches.
