Shooting Stars mourn another loss hours after coach Olowookere’s d£ath
The Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) family is mourning the loss of former player Lookman Oshun, who has died just hours after the unexpected passing of the club’s assistant coach, Akin Olowookere.
Oshun’s death was confirmed late Monday night by his wife, though the cause of his sudden demise remains unknown as at the time of filing report.
A respected figure in Nigerian football, Lookman Oshun played for prominent clubs including IICC Shooting Stars of Ibadan, Stationary Stores, and First Bank FC of Lagos.
He also represented the Nigerian national team, the Green Eagles, during his playing career.
Following his retirement from professional football, Oshun dedicated himself to coaching, guiding teams such as First Bank FC and Smart City FC in Lagos.
