Risking life for fame is stupidity- Stan Eze

Popular Nigerian actor, Stan Nze, has spoken out against actors endangering their lives for movie roles, describing such actions as “stupidity.”

Speaking on role interpretation in Nollywood, Nze emphasized that stunt actors are trained and well paid to handle dangerous scenes, and it would be unwise for him to attempt them just to prove himself.

“Why would I risk my life jumping from a dangerous height in a movie?” he asked. “That’s the job of stunt actors. They have the experience and are paid to do it. I won’t be foolish enough to put my life at risk just to be called the best actor in Africa. People will mourn briefly and move on it’s not worth it.”

The actor stressed that he would only perform roles meant for him while allowing professional stunt performers to do their jobs.
