Residents of Iware in Surulere Local Government Area, Oyo State, erupted in joy as electricity was restored to the community following the installation of a new transformer after months of total blackout.

The project was facilitated by Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola, popularly known as SMATO, who represents Ogooluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Iware had been plunged into darkness for a prolonged period due to the breakdown of its former transformer, a situation that disrupted businesses, slowed economic activities, and made daily life difficult for residents.
