President Tinubu heads to Kano on condolence mission

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to visit Kano State to offer condolences to the government, the people of the state, and the family of the late Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a prominent elder statesman, industrialist, and philanthropist.
The announcement was made on Thursday in a statement issued by the spokesperson to the Kano State Governor, Sunusi Bature. According to the statement, the visit is a gesture of national unity and a mark of respect for the people of Kano and the legacy of the late Dantata.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has urged residents to receive the president with warmth and maintain order during the visit, in keeping with the state’s well-known tradition of hospitality and reverence for leadership.
The visit comes in the wake of the death of Alhaji Aminu Dantata, whose lifelong contributions to business, philanthropy, and community development have left an enduring mark across Nigeria.
Bature added that adequate security and logistical arrangements have been put in place to ensure a smooth and dignified presidential visit.
