Power outage disrupts BBNaija season 10 broadcast

Viewers of Big Brother Naija Season 10 experienced a temporary break in transmission on Friday evening after a power outage interrupted the live broadcast.

In a notice posted on its official Facebook page, MultiChoice Nigeria and Big Brother confirmed the disruption but assured fans that the housemates were “safe and sound.”

“We’re currently experiencing a temporary break in Big Brother Naija transmission due to a power issue. Rest assured, the housemates are safe and sound,” the statement read.

The organisers further explained that their technical team was working swiftly to restore power and normal service. “Thank you for your patience. Grab a snack, stretch your legs. We’ll be back serving premium entertainment shortly,” the update added.

Now in its 10th season, Big Brother Naija continues to rank among the most-watched television programmes in Nigeria and across Africa, with millions tuning in daily to follow the show.
