Popular TV host Morayo Afolabi-Brown
Popular Nigerian television presenter, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, has officially resigned from Television Continental (TVC), marking the end of a long and impactful career at the media organization.
Her resignation was confirmed on Tuesday by TVC Communications through a statement signed by the company’s Public Relations Manager, Edward Akintara.
According to the statement, Afolabi-Brown’s final day at the organization will be August 29, 2025.
“As she embarks on this exciting new chapter, we wish her continued success and fulfillment. Her legacy will always be a valued part of our story, and she remains a beloved member of the TVC family,” Akintara stated.
The company also urged members of the public and her supporters to continue standing by her as she takes on new professional challenges.
Afolabi-Brown’s exit comes less than two years after she was appointed Managing Director of TVC’s Entertainment channel in November 2023.
Prior to that appointment, she gained nationwide recognition as the anchor of the popular morning chat show “Your View,” which she had hosted since 2013.
Her departure has stirred mixed reactions among viewers and media stakeholders, many of whom have praised her contributions to public discourse and women’s representation in media.
