Pastor Adeboye seeks billions of naira for RCCG camp expansion

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has appealed to members of the church to contribute several billions of naira towards the expansion of the church’s camp along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.

Speaking on Saturday during the annual Holy Ghost Service, Pastor Adeboye said the current facilities were no longer sufficient to accommodate the growing congregation, causing traffic congestion in and around the camp.

“We have a good problem, the place can no longer contain us. Traffic extended to the expressway during the last service, and by next year the crowd will likely double. We must build more dormitories. Our 10,000-capacity choir stand is already overcrowded, with some sitting on the floor,” he said.

He explained that the expansion would include enlarging the altar, building new accommodations, and increasing the camp’s power and water supply.

“It has been a long time since I made such an appeal, but we can no longer avoid it. We will need several billions of naira. Those who can assist should step forward, nobody is forcing you. My God has never let me down,” he added.

Pastor Adeboye urged members to send their donations directly to the RCCG Camp Project account, warning against writing cheques in his name.

He encouraged contributions between ₦100 million and ₦1 billion, assuring donors that “God will take care of you and give you good problems.”
