Oyo Government announces free ticket for Davido’s ‘5ive’ tour in Ibadan (How to get)

The Oyo State Government has approved the distribution of thousands of free tickets to young residents for Davido’s ‘5ive’ Tour in Ibadan, as part of efforts to promote youth development and support the state’s creative industry.

The initiative, endorsed by Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, is being coordinated by the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

According to the organizers, ticket distribution will hold on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the agency’s office in the state secretariat, Ibadan, starting from 9:00 a.m. Tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applicants are required to present a Local Government ID, Voter’s Card, or NIN to confirm residency within Oyo State.

The Ibadan concert, expected to attract over 20,000 fans, is one of the most anticipated stops on Davido’s nationwide tour. Governor Makinde’s approval of the free ticket initiative aligns with his administration’s drive to empower youths, boost tourism, and promote the creative economy in Oyo State.
