Osimhen hints at ‘future’ with Galatasaray

Victor Osimhen has reaffirmed his commitment to Galatasaray after sealing a permanent move to the Turkish Super Lig champions from Napoli earlier this month.

The Nigerian striker, who won the fans’ hearts during his loan spell last season, continued his fine form by scoring in Galatasaray’s 3-1 win over Caykur Rizespor at RAMS Park on Saturday night.

The 26-year-old has now found the net in back-to-back league appearances, further endearing himself to the supporters.

Speaking after the match, Osimhen expressed his delight at returning to Istanbul permanently and pledged his long-term future to the club.

“It’s great to be back. Everyone wanted me and I’m finally in the place I call home. I wanted it so bad. I’ll be here for years to come,” Osimhen told the club’s official website.

With his goals already making an impact, Osimhen looks set to play a key role in Galatasaray’s title defense this season.
