Olubadan-designate Ladoja vows to fill vacant chieftaincy titles without delay

The Olubadan-designate of Ibadanland, High Chief Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, has assured that all vacant positions in the Olubadan chieftaincy hierarchy will be promptly filled.

Ladoja made the statement while receiving  the Asipa Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi, at his residence in Lagos. His media aide, Adeola Oloko, confirmed the visit in a statement released on Monday.

The former Oyo State governor also paid tribute to the late Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun, who recently passed away, describing him as a king who served Ibadanland diligently.

“Kabiyesi Olakulehin lived a fulfilled life and served the people of Ibadan with honour,” Ladoja said, noting that he was out of town when the monarch died.

He emphasized that there would be no delay in making necessary appointments to sustain the structure and progress of the traditional institution.

Oba Kola-Daisi, while offering his condolences, pledged full support for Ladoja as he prepares to assume the throne as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
