NYSC announces 2025 Batch C orientation dates

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, across all orientation camps in Nigeria.

The scheme confirmed it in a statement released by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, “Camp registration for all corps members is scheduled to run from November 19 to midnight on Friday, November 21, 2025.”

According to the statement, the swearing-in ceremony will take place on Friday, November 21, while the closing ceremony is slated for Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

Embu further conveyed the good wishes of NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, who urged all prospective corps members to travel safely to their respective orientation camps. He also advised against night travel to ensure personal safety.

This announcement follows the release of call-up numbers for 2025 Batch C prospective corps members. NYSC confirmed via its official X handle that call-up numbers have been distributed based on registration order.

Due to capacity limitations across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, the scheme noted that only about 40 per cent of registered corps members could be accommodated for this orientation. The NYSC assured those unable to secure placement that they would be deferred to the next exercise.

Prospective corps members are encouraged to check their call-up numbers and make travel arrangements in good time to avoid last-minute delays.
