Nigeria’s Dessers hints at NPFL move

Dessers
Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers has revealed his ambition to end his football career playing in either Major League Soccer (MLS) or the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), republican.com.ng reports.
Currently at Rangers in Scotland, Dessers has been the subject of transfer interest from Greek clubs, with AEK Athens and Olympiacos reportedly monitoring his situation. However, the 29-year-old says he’s open to exploring new football destinations later in his career.
“It’s a tough call, but I’d love something more exotic,” he told SportsBoom. “I can see myself playing in Japan, the United States, South Africa, or Nigeria. That would be a great experience.”
While transfer rumours continue to swirl, Dessers remains focused on his current club.
“I still have two years left on my contract with Rangers. It’s a fantastic club, and I’m happy here,” he stated.
Addressing the speculation linking him to Olympiacos, he added: “I’ve seen the reports, but I’m not aware of anything concrete. These kinds of rumours are part of the game.”
