The award-winning artist asked parents and guardians to send their children’s school bills via Instagram to @TheOyindaOlu, promising that receipts of payments made to schools would be sent back as confirmation.
This gesture has sparked praise across social media, with many fans applauding Dakolo for using his platform to support families during these challenging economic times.
As schools resume nationwide, rising tuition, levies, and textbook costs have left many parents stretched thin. Dakolo’s kind act adds to the growing list of Nigerian celebrities offering direct financial relief to their fans and followers.
