Nigerian lawmaker appoints 106 aides

The member representing Uke/Karshi Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Musa Gude, says he has appointed 106 aides to strengthen his service delivery to the people.
Gude made this known to journalists in Lafia on Tuesday, noting that the appointments were also aimed at improving the welfare of the aides and their families.
“I want to disclose that I have 106 aides on my payroll, including Special and Personal Assistants. Some of them receive N100,000, N80,000, N50,000, N30,000, N20,000 and N10,000 respectively,” he said.
The lawmaker explained that the initiative was part of his commitment to inclusive leadership and grassroots empowerment.
He further highlighted some of his interventions, including the provision of boreholes in communities and the payment of WAEC fees for several students in his constituency.
Gude assured his constituents of continued quality representation at the State Assembly and urged them to embrace peace, unity and tolerance irrespective of differences.
