Nigerian Afrobeats star surprises wife with 2025 G- wagon

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has once again proven that love is luxury as he surprised his wife, Chioma, with a brand-new 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon worth over $150,000 (₦240 million).

The music star shared the big moment on his Instagram Story today, showing himself picking up the luxury SUV. Davido revealed that he traded in a previous model and topped up with extra cash to secure the very latest release.

“First of all, we had to take the one I got, then obviously add more money to get the new one,” he said proudly, before adding with a smile, “Only the best for my lady.”

Chioma’s reaction was priceless when she finally received the sleek ride, with Davido hyping her up and shouting, “We do 2025!”

The couple has been living their fairytale since tying the knot in a lavish white wedding in Miami on August 10, 2025, the grand finale of their three-part wedding celebration, which also included a court marriage in March 2023 and a traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.

Their Miami ceremony reportedly cost a jaw-dropping $3.7 million and was attended by A-list entertainers, business moguls, and political figures from around the globe.
