Manchester United Onana edges closer to club exit
Manchester United have reached a verbal agreement with Turkish side Trabzonspor over a loan move for goalkeeper André Onana.
The final decision now rests with the Cameroon international, who has struggled for game time this season. Onana’s only appearance came in the Red Devils’ Carabao Cup second-round defeat to Grimsby Town.
Manager Ruben Amorim has favoured Altay Bayindir in Premier League fixtures, while United also reinforced their goalkeeping options with the £18 million signing of Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp this summer.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on X, stating:
“Trabzonspor reach verbal agreement with Manchester United to sign André Onana on loan. Club to club verbal agreement in place and final decision now up to Onana. It’s only up to the goalkeeper.”
