Nigerian singer and rapper, Keshinro Ololade, widely known by his stage name Lil Kesh, narrowly survived a robbery attack in Lagos on Wednesday, leaving fans and the entertainment industry in shock.
According to Hip TV, the 29-year-old artiste, famous for his 2014 breakout hit Shoki, was ambushed by armed men in Lagos. During the attack, he was reportedly stabbed in the neck and dispossessed of jewelry and other valuables worth millions of naira.
Eyewitness accounts remain sketchy, but sources revealed that the attackers fled immediately after the assault, leaving the singer injured. It is yet to be confirmed whether Lil Kesh received emergency medical treatment at the scene or was rushed to a hospital.
