Iyabo Ojo to sue Liz Anjorin again over defamation

The drama between Nollywood stars Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin is far from over, as Iyabo Ojo has vowed to take fresh legal action over what she calls defamatory remarks and threats against her family.

The actress made the revelation in a lengthy Instagram post on today, months after the Lagos High Court struck out her ₦1 billion defamation suit against Anjorin and ordered her lawyer to pay ₦500,000 in costs.

“My legal team isn’t sleeping. They are taking note of everything. A wise person listens to learned counsel. Everything has its timing,” Ojo wrote, hinting that a new lawsuit may soon follow.

Ojo and Anjorin’s feud has been one of Nollywood’s most talked-about clashes, with both women trading words on social media. Anjorin has repeatedly mocked Ojo in Facebook live sessions, sparking parody videos that have gone viral.

While Ojo admitted that some of the clips were funny, she said Anjorin’s alleged curses and death wishes on her family including her newborn grandson. She also suggested Anjorin should be held responsible if anything happens to her or her family, citing a fire incident at her Lagos office and threats she claims they have received.

Their bitter rivalry reportedly began when Ojo publicly supported Folashade Tinubu, wife of Anjorin’s husband, a move that triggered months of accusations, police petitions, lawsuits, and online drama.
