Inter Milan have officially announced the signing of Nigerian forward Richi Agbonifo from Serie A rivals Hellas Verona.
The 19-year-old joins the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League finalists on a permanent deal, as confirmed by both clubs.
Agbonifo is known for his versatility, capable of playing as a second striker, centre-forward, attacking midfielder, and winger.
Agbonifo spent 13 years at Verona, having joined the club’s youth system at the age of six. His departure marks the end of a long developmental journey at the club.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan remain in pursuit of another Nigerian star, Ademola Lookman. The Nerazzurri are expected to resume negotiations with Atalanta in hopes of securing a deal for the Super Eagles forward, who is reportedly keen on a move to the San Siro.
