I’m just catching cruise – Mandy kiss retracts ‘100 men in 24 hours’ claim
Social media influencer Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, has released an emotional video pleading for forgiveness after the Eselu of Iselu Kingdom in Ogun State, Oba Ebenezer Akinyemi, urged Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to order her arrest.
The monarch’s call followed Mandy Kiss’s controversial claim that she planned to set a Guinness World Record (GWR) by sleeping with 100 men in 24 hours.
The statement sparked nationwide outrage, prompting GWR to distance itself and stress that no such record category exists.
In the viral video posted on her social media page, the influencer insisted her remarks were never serious but only intended to generate online engagement.
“I was just joking, I was only catching cruise. Arrest as how? I can’t even hire a lawyer, I don’t have money. I can’t even have sex with three men, I will die,” she said in Yoruba and pidgin.
Mandy Kiss explained that her controversial post was aimed at attracting attention and possible advertising deals, not an actual record attempt. She appealed to Nigerians not to take her literally, saying her family could not withstand a legal battle.
The Eselu of Iselu, however, condemned her conduct as “a dangerous display of moral decadence” and warned that failure to act might embolden similar behaviour among youths.
