Ibom Air: Comfort Emmanson’s father demands compensation over daughter’s ordeal

The father of Comfort Emmanson, the young woman recently at the centre of a viral Ibom Air incident, has spoken out, demanding compensation for what he described as the public humiliation of his daughter.

In a video interview circulating online, he expressed anger over the way his daughter was allegedly stripped in public during the incident, insisting the episode had damaged his family’s reputation.

“I don’t know why it happened that way. Is it because I don’t have money?” he asked. “They have rubbished us and tarnished our image. I’m not feeling myself, I don’t even feel like eating. They stripped my child naked, and she didn’t steal. Compensation must be paid.”

The distraught father further lamented that the incident had left him and his family distressed, stressing that Ibom Air must take responsibility for the embarrassment caused.

His comments have sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some users sympathised with the family, others questioned why they were only now speaking out.
