Ibadan North By-Election: APC’s Olatunji Adewale loses polling unit

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency by-election, Hon. Olatunji Adewale, popularly called “Murphy,” lost at his polling unit on Saturday.
At Ward 10, Unit 27, Adewale polled 6 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, recorded 9 votes.
Out of 248 registered voters at the unit, only 17 valid ballots were counted, reflecting the low voter turnout that marked the election.
Final results for the constituency are still being collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
