I lost, I will go back – Actress Regina Daniels breaks down in tears
Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has sparked concern among fans after sharing an emotional video on Instagram, where she broke down in tears over ongoing family and personal struggles.
In the viral clip posted early Friday, Daniels appeared visibly distraught as she spoke about her mental and emotional state, declaring, “I give up.”
“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy. I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” she said tearfully.
The actress revealed that her parents, who recently reconciled after years of estrangement, reunited solely to support her and work together for the release of her brother, Sammy West, who has allegedly been detained for days in Abuja.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote, adding that her parents were now working together to free her brother.
In another video, fellow actress Mercy Johnson was seen assisting in the search for Sammy, stating, “He’s not here,” before promising to continue looking.
Amid her emotional outburst, Daniels hinted at returning to her husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, saying,
“Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I’ll hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back.”
In a follow-up post, she accused authorities of corruption and hinted at deeper family troubles.
“What was my brother’s offense? Fighting for his baby sister because his in-law would always beat her up? … Shame on you all! It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins. I lost! I will return if that’s the only way,” she wrote.
The development follows earlier claims by Daniels in October, where she alleged domestic violence in her marriage — an accusation Nwoko denied, attributing her statements to “drug and alcohol abuse.”
Her recent posts have prompted an outpouring of sympathy from fans and colleagues, many of whom have urged her to seek help and stay safe.
