The Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has launched the distribution of a one-year supply of sanitary pads to 10,000 girls in rural communities across the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State.

The initiative, carried out under the “Flow with Confidence” menstrual health programme of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), took place in Akure, the state capital.

Represented by the Wife of the Ondo State Governor, Mrs. Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, Senator Tinubu said the programme is designed to promote menstrual hygiene, reduce school absenteeism, and empower girls in underserved areas. She called on community leaders and government officials to ensure the sanitary pads reach the intended beneficiaries and are not diverted.
