The Federal Government has extended the deadline for applications into the ongoing recruitment exercise for paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior.

Initially scheduled to close on Monday, August 4, 2025, the recruitment portal will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025, allowing more interested candidates to apply.

This was disclosed in a statement on Sunday by the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Major General Abdulmalik Jibrin (retd).

According to him, the one-week extension aims to provide additional opportunity for interested Nigerians who wish to join any of the paramilitary services or work with the board.

Jibrin reminded the public that the official recruitment portal remains https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.

He also emphasized that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge and warned applicants against engaging with fraudulent individuals or platforms.

“The Board wishes to reiterate that its recruitment process is free of charge and remains committed to ensuring a fair and transparent process,” the statement added.

The CDCFIB oversees the recruitment into agencies including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).
