FEC to hold special session in honour of late ex-president Muhammadu Buhari

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) will convene a special session on Thursday, July 17, at 1 p.m. to pay tribute to the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. According to the statement, President Bola Tinubu will lead the session in honour of the late Nigerian leader.
The tribute session was initially scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, but was postponed due to Buhari’s state funeral, which was held in his hometown of Daura on the same day. The Federal Government had also declared Tuesday a public holiday to mark the former president’s passing.
