Ex-SGF Boss Mustapha speaks on dumping APC

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, has denied reports claiming he has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In a statement on Sunday, Mustapha described the story as “fake news,” stressing that he has had no contact or discussions with any opposition party or coalition.

“I am not in any opposition alliance, and I am not in any discussion with those involved,” he said.

The former SGF reaffirmed his role as a founding member of the APC, saying he remains committed to the party despite its challenges. According to him, solutions should be sought from within rather than through defection.

He urged the public to disregard the speculation.

Mustapha served as SGF from 2017 to 2023.
