Davido meets French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has met with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, in Paris.
The award-winning singer announced the development in a post shared on his verified Facebook page on Thursday evening. Davido also posted several photographs from the engagement, which appeared to have taken place at the French Presidential Palace.
In the pictures, Davido was seen in the company of his close associates, including popular businessman Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest, and Aidan Asika, an aide to the President of the 8th Senate.
The meeting comes amid Davido’s ongoing international engagements and his growing influence as one of Africa’s foremost cultural ambassadors promoting Afrobeats on the global stage.
Although the singer did not disclose specific details of the discussions, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet the French leader.
Davido wrote, “It was an honor meeting @emmanuelmacron and sharing our visions for a better world 🇳🇬🇫🇷.”
