Davido honors late son with special cufflinks at miami white wedding

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, paid a touching tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, by wearing custom cufflinks engraved with his son’s image during his white wedding ceremony.

The singer shared a photo of the sentimental accessory on his Instagram story as he celebrated his lavish wedding to longtime partner Chioma Rowland in Miami, United States, on Sunday.

The white wedding followed their traditional ceremony in 2024 and was attended by prominent figures from Nigeria’s business, political, and entertainment sectors.

The Miami event also attracted fellow music stars such as Adekunle Gold, Teni, and Zlatan Ibile, who had previously joined the couple for their pre-wedding dinner.

Speaking about the grandeur of the ceremony, Davido revealed that the celebration cost a staggering $3.7 million.

“We spent $3.7m in cash. You should know what we are doing. It’s crazy,” he remarked.
