Bryan Mbeumo assigned shirt number at Manchester United

Cameroonian forward Bryan Mbeumo has been officially unveiled as a Manchester United player, following his move from Brentford on Monday.

Mbeumo, who had an outstanding 2024/2025 Premier League season with 20 goals for the Bees, has been handed the number 19 jersey at Old Trafford. He is expected to link up with his new teammates as the Red Devils gear up for their pre-season tour of the United States.

The number 19 shirt was most recently worn by French defender Raphael Varane, who departed the club earlier this summer. Before Varane, Amad Diallo wore the shirt for a single season, while Marcus Rashford — now headed to Barcelona on loan — previously donned the number early in his United career.

Mbeumo’s arrival adds more firepower to United’s attacking options ahead of the new season.
