BREAKING: PDP’s Oyekunle wins Ibadan North Federal Constituency By-Election
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Olufolajimi Oyekunle, winner of the Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election held on Saturday.
The announcement was made in the early hours of Sunday by the Returning Officer for the election, Professor Abiodun Oluwadare, at the collation centre.
According to the official results, Oyekunle secured 18,404 votes to defeat his closest rival, Adewale Olatunji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 8,312 votes.
