BREAKING: NNPCL slashes petrol price two days after hike

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N900 per litre, just two days after raising it to N955.
REPUBLICAN NIGERIA learnt that the new pricing have been effected at several NNPCL retail outlets in Abuja, including stations located in Gwarimpa, Kubwa Expressway, Wuse Zone 6, and Wuse Zone 4.
The move signifies a N55 per litre reduction, coming shortly after the state-owned oil company implemented a significant increase on Monday.
In a related development, some independent marketers have also adjusted their pump prices. Ranoil and Empire Energy filling stations in Gwarimpa now dispense petrol at N955 and N950 per litre, down from N971 and N970, respectively.
