BREAKING: Newly appointed Shooting Stars coach collapses during training session

A newly appointed coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Akin Olowookere, has died after collapsing during a training session.
According to eyewitness accounts, the former Sunshine Stars of Akure player slumped on the pitch during the Oluyole Warriors’ Monday morning training in Ijebu-Ode.
He was immediately attended to by medical staff and rushed to the hospital, but was confirmed dead on arrival.
Olowookere, a soft-spoken and well-respected figure in Nigerian football, was only recently unveiled as one of the club’s coaches following the departure of the Gbenga Ogunbote-led technical crew.
The ex-midfielder spent several years with Sunshine Stars before transitioning into coaching, most recently serving as an assistant coach under former Sunshine Stars boss, Edith Agoye.
His sudden death has shocked the Nigerian football community, with tributes already pouring in from former teammates, players, and fans.
