Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted the wife and daughter of Alhaji Muhammad Swasun, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State.

According to Vanguard, the incident occurred on Sunday night at Sakpefu community when the assailants reportedly scaled the fence into the chairman’s compound and began shooting indiscriminately to create panic.

The victims, identified as Hajiya Fatima and her daughter Amina, were seized after the attackers broke into one of the rooms in the residence. They were taken away at gunpoint to an undisclosed location.
