Big Brother Naija season 10 premieres July 27, winner to take home ₦150 million

The much-anticipated 10th season of Africa’s biggest reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, will premiere on Sunday, July 27, 2025, with a record-breaking grand prize of ₦150 million for the winner.
Organisers, MultiChoice Nigeria, made the official announcement on Wednesday, revealing that the show will kick off with double opening night events on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27.
Veteran host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who returns to anchor the new season, highlighted the show’s impressive milestones, stating, “In nine seasons, Big Brother Naija has delivered 709 days of premium entertainment, featured 197 housemates, and awarded a total of ₦637 million in prize money.”
Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, assured fans and sponsors of an even more thrilling experience in the upcoming season. She confirmed that this year’s winner will take home a mouth-watering ₦150 million — the biggest in the show’s history.
The show will air live on DStv and GOtv platforms, continuing its tradition of drama, tasks, evictions, and electrifying entertainment.
