Afrobeats singer addresses dating speculations
Afrobeats superstar, Tiwa Savage, has addressed speculations linking her romantically with fellow singer, Wizkid.
According to a report, the singer recently revealed in an interview that she once dated a public figure.
According to her, the relationship was kept away from the spotlight because her partner preferred to remain discreet, even though he openly flirts with other women under the guise of protecting their privacy.
Her comments immediately sparked widespread speculations, with many Nigerians concluding that she was referring to Wizkid, given the long-standing rumours of a romance between the two.
However, in another interview with TheBreakfast Club, Tiwa Savage has now denied the claims, stressing that while she has deep admiration and respect for Wizkid, he was not the celebrity in question.
The mother of one, chose not to disclose the actual identity of the celebrity she dated.
She said:”Shoutout to wizkid. I love and respect him but he isn’t the one I was referring to. I said the person was a public figure but it’s not him.”
Case closed! Tiwa says it’s not Wizkid, so let’s all sip our tea in peace.
