2027: Tinubu’s re-election a done deal – Osun APC Chieftain, Babayemi

Babayemi
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Dotun Babayemi, has declared that any attempt to thwart the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu in 2027 will be futile.
Babayemi, who is one of the APC governorship aspirants ahead of the August 8, 2026 election in Osun, made the assertion during his ward-to-ward consultation tour in Ayedire Local Government Area of the state on Sunday.
He maintained that Tinubu’s re-election is non-negotiable, adding that the president’s second term would consolidate the progress already made under the current administration.
“The president is breaking new grounds with positive impacts, and the results will tangibly manifest during his second term in office,” Babayemi said.
According to him, Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 is crucial for national stability and economic recovery.
“His re-election will stabilise the country and the economy for the good of the populace,” he added.
Babayemi noted that APC members in Osun are already working tirelessly to ensure victory for the party in the 2026 governorship election and for Tinubu in the 2027 presidential poll.
He stressed that the president’s re-election should be of utmost priority to all Nigerians, especially APC loyalists.
“Since President Tinubu assumed office, he has rolled out reforms and programmes under the Renewed Hope Agenda, which are already bearing positive fruits,” the APC chieftain stated.
Babayemi also urged party faithful to prepare for the forthcoming voters’ registration exercise to be conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), describing it as a critical step toward the party’s success at the polls.
