2027: Osun, Lagos, Ogun lead as INEC reveals statistics for PVC registration (FULL LIST)

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that more than 3.5 million Nigerians have completed their online pre-registration for Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The exercise, which commenced less than two weeks ago, has already seen massive participation across the country, with Osun, Lagos, and Ogun states recording the highest figures.

According to data released by the commission on Monday, Osun leads with 518,635 registrations, followed by Lagos with 440,647, and Ogun with 348,217.

INEC said the online registration is only the first phase, noting that applicants will be required to complete biometric capture at designated centres before receiving their PVCs.
